I RSVPd to a beach party hoping a church friend would go with me but she declined. Instead of not going I am here by myself and trying not to get to over anxious. I'm outside my comfort zone and trying really hard not to flee.

All the stuff I wanted to take is out of the house is out and I will no longer have to go there to do anything. They already had a for sale in the window and had changed the locks some time last week. It really doesn't matter now as I have everything I wanted out of the house. Now I have to take the time to figure out what I have packed and get it organized in the shed.

I had an internal interview today for an Operations Analyst position. Am I qualified not completely, could I do the job probably, will I get the job probably not.
I think the interveiw went well but they did bring up a lot of things I didn't know. Could explain how I could handle the position I think so. They aren't going to be making a decision until the middle of February so I will probably forget about it by then.

My Aunt came home partially from the hospital today. She is now at the rehd center which is in town so she s closer to friends and family. They are a little concerned about her heart rate which has me a little concerned since the doctor who did her surgery is the same one who did my grandfathers and he died a week later. I know it was 30 years ago but still it sits in the back of your mind.

I have long been a Girl Scout, having been one as a teen and enjoying all the adventures I had. Once I grew up, I had often thought of what to do as an adult but never really tried. Well a couple weeks ago I sent in an application to be a leader.
Yesterday in the mail I got a letter stating I had been approved and was now the leader of #731 in Northern Suffolk. My appointment lasts until June 09 at which time I can be reappointed if my skills and council approve.

In June I gave annie63 a kidney (1000 points). Last Saturday I didn't flush (-1 points). In February I helped energyneophyte across the street (6 points). In the season of giving, I was tired of trying to reach my new housemates and not getting an answer because they were low on minutes on their prepaid phones. So out of concern for better communication I asked how much she spent a month on prepaid service and then suggested we add a line to my current account which would save us both money and headaches.
After spending about a hour at the store last night, she now has a new phone as well as the child unit. Adding 2 lines to my service and changing my plan to add talk minutes, and unlimited texting will now save us both about $30 a month. It is just so nice to do for others and still help myself.

Just got back from the repair shop, after some pictures and looking inside and out of the trunk, the final estimate is $1700. This may change if they have to replace instead of repair the tail piece.
What I thought was a simple dented bumper has turned into a pushed in truck (where the spare tire sits is crumpled on both sides). If they can just pull out the hitch piece and punch out the crumples it will only take a week to repair. If they have to replace parts, it will take longer.
Thankfully I have full coverage along with rental coverage. It is being filed under the uninsured motorists coverage so I don't have to worry about the deductable either. Not sure I want to see what my insurance goes up too after this. It will come down a little once I remove the homeowners section.
